My College Football Pool

I was invited to join a pool where you pick college football teams.
We had 8 participants, snake draft style.

I was "stuck" with the #1 pick. I wasn't really interested in it, and tried to trade out of it, but there were no takers.

Here is the point structure:

-1 point for every game your team wins
-2 points for every game your team beats a ranked opponent
-3 points for every game your team (UNRANKED) beats a ranked opponent.

That being said, with the #1 pick, I was thinking either USC or LSU. I ended up taking LSU for two reasons:
1. They play 4 teams ranked in the preseason top 25, opposed to USC, who only plays 3.
2. One of those teams that USC plays, Nebraska, is ranked #20, and that game is in week 2. Who does Nebraska play in week 1? None other than sneaky old Wake Forest, who could easily pull the upset, knocking the cornholes out of the top 25, and easily taking away a 2 point game from USC.
3. LSU get to the SEC conference championship game, which gives them a chance at another game to beat a ranked opponent, which could be an extra 2 points that USC won't even have a chance for.

As for my 2nd round pick, it was Auburn (play 5 ranked teams). I also got Hawaii (should be 11 points at worst). I love the fact that I got Alabama (playing SIX ranked teams and they are currently unranked) despite the fact that Saban is a douchebag.

Feel free to post a comment as to whom you think will win this thing. I, of course, love my team.
BTW, interesting note on the B10 teams. They were drafted, in order:

Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin. That's the exact reverse order I would have selected them.

Here are everyone's picks in order of round they selected them. (Alma mater in parentheses to indicate any potential bias. Speaking of bias, the Gator guy Rob thinks of the SEC as compared to the rest of the conference the same way that Hitler thought of the Aryan race compared to other races).
