AP Poll is out

The AP released it's top 25 college football rankings over the weekend. To see the complete poll, you can click here.

Here are my initial thoughts:

-I love how Rocky Top is ranked one spot ahead of PSU, despite getting completely shut down in the bowl game. UT lost it's top 2 WRs to the NFL, PSU returns it's entire secondary, yet they're ranked higher? Oh well.
-I actually think that #17 is a reasonable start for PSU. Actually, according to my point above, they should be ranked at #16.
-I agree with Tommy Tuberville on one thing: polls shouldn't come out until October. Don't forget his 2004 team started the season at #18. He blames the media for Auburn getting the shaft that season despite running the table (and shocker....beating VT in a bowl game). Tommy, if you're looking for sympathy on 12-0 teams getting dicked, Penn State fans aren't going to have any of it.
-On a somewhat related note, should PSU fans be worried about starting the season ranked too low. Do Morelli and co have enough firepower to run the table? Do we play Michigan this year (yup Sept 22nd).
-How the hell is O$U ranked 11th? I know they pay their players, but are they playing the pollsters as well?Look at the Buckeyes schedule:

I see a trap OOC game @ Washington
I see a loss to Wisky (shocking stat: UW has won THREE IN A ROW at the 'Shoe. Maybe JoePa should borrow their gameplan)
I see Michigan exacting some revenge (Lloyd'll be playing for his job).
And finally, I see a loss vs. PSU. O$U travels to PSU (only 2 wins ever.... 1995 on a bogus non fumble call on Eddie George, and 2003, on the Hartsock "catch" to my right).
-Speaking of this play, LOOK AT THE FREAKING REFEREE. Is he on acid? HOW THE HELL DID HE CALL THAT A CATCH. What a joke.

Back to the preseason poll:

-I see VT folding down the stretch (as usual)
-No way is Oklahoma a preseason Top 10
-Actually, the entire BXII is a fraud.
