I've been reading the blog by the folks over at Lasch Out, a new blog dedicated to Penn State football.
They have some REALLY great information, and insights.
I love this post here, which talks about the lack of freedom generally given to Penn State's QBs and their ability to audible.
This has actually been confirmed to me by other folks with knowledge of the program. (Not with respect to Morelli, but certainly other QBs within the past 10 years).
They also talk about PSU's penchant to go into a shell when playing a big game on the road. Playing "not to lose" (Columbus, OH in 2002 and 2006 anyone?)
Anyways, per another source, Herbstreit was quoted at the Big Ten kickoff luncheon, when asked about Morelli vis-a-vis Michigan, by saying "Morelli will torch that secondary".
The question remains: will JoePa give Morellli the keys to the Porsche, or make him push the wheelbarrow?
