Things went great the Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Uncle Brandon arrived on Saturday, we had a nice steak dinner, and Stella stayed up late (too late, until about 9:30pm) so Grangela could show her off to some friends.
Lack a sleep made for a grizzly baby, and on Sunday, Stella endured a pretty big meltdown.
Upon return to Vancouver (after receiving some nice abuse from United Airlines for having the audacity of traveling with a baby), Stella seems to be back to her normal self.
I think that she was going through withdrawal from not getting watch any hockey or soccer while in LA. Look at how happy she was today, getting to watch the Champions League game with her Grandad and his Italian friend Alberto, who was choked to see Inter Milan get knocked out.

Four English teams in the final 8 again. Too bad that the National team stinks.

I don't think 4 teams from the EPL in the Champions league signifies anything about English football. To win in football, one has to score goals. A quick look at the EPL goal scoring leaders reveals 4 Englishman in the top 10. There are 0 Englishmen in the top 5.

Based on this, the Italians are top followed by England, Spain, Germany and France. The clear top scorers across all leagues are the Brazilians. I will not go on record stating they are better than the Italians because that is against my religion.
To win in football, one has to score goals.
Then why the fuck does Italy try and win every game 1-0.
You killed yourself in your own argument in your first sentence.
dumbass.
